About Me

Hey there!

I’m a student journalist with three years of reporting experience and skills in writing, copy-editing, close-reading and interviewing. I’m currently the U-District beat reporter for The Daily at the University of Washington. I’ve covered everything from protests to historical buildings to local nonprofits and small businesses. I’m driven by curiosity, a love for language and a belief in journalism as service — because stories help glue our communities together, especially across divisions of age, class and culture.
